On the 24th of May we celebrated our Biodiversity Action Day. Members of our Green Schools Committee led the pupils in activities that were both fun and engaging. Three of our committee members recently attended the Green School awards in Cork and proudly accepted our 6th Green Flag, the latest being for our work on Biodiversity.
Activities on the day included a scavenger hunt, wildflower identification, minibeasts in the mud kitchen, biodiversity memory ball games, chalk drawing and garden birds station.
What a way to round off Biodiversity Week!
